Ocean Gems® Freshwater Prawns originate from fresh water resources such as lakes and rivers in Sri Lanka, where prawns grow to an extraordinary size, eating natural feed and swimming in extensive space. There are no preservatives or antibiotics used in the whole process. From the time fresh water prawns are caught to the time the prawns are individually quick frozen, every step is meticulously planned to ensure our customers' high expectations are met.
